Ladies, touch yourselves

Ladies, I’m willing to bet that you take a shower at least once per day. I mean, for your sake and the sake of everyone who comes into contact with you, if you don’t shower every day – you probably still change your clothes. At least, I really, really hope so.

That being said, I’m writing to impart the importance of touching yourselves.

And by that, I mean, performing a monthly self-breast exam.

Really, touching yourself is so simple to do – and yet so many women deny themselves this basic necessity for the sake of time, or – I know it’s hard to believe – they simply forget to do it.

Monthly self-exams: fighting for the world's boobs, one step at a time.

Yet, research shows that monthly self-breast exams are key in the fight against breast cancer.

And so, here are a few tips to make sure you don’t forget this important step toward saving your (and the world’s) boobs:

First, check out this tutorial.

Now, depending on your upbringing, the idea of feeling your boobs may illicit any number of reactions. But trust me, it’s important to start learning the, ah, landscape of your boobs (boobscape?) in order to later determine if you start experiencing any changes.

One of the best places to do this is in the shower since – let’s review – it’s hopefully something you already do regularly. Plus, you’re much more likely to touch yourself if you’re already naked and soapy.

Go ahead, feel them. If you have any reservations, just keep in mind that once performing the exam becomes routine, you won’t even think twice about it. In fact, ladies, you’re likely to get quite bored with it. Which is a good thing. So, hire your significant man-friend to help you out.

I can guarantee you he won’t get bored. And he’s much more likely to give your boobs a full investigation. He can really get in there and let you know if anything has changed from month to month.

Of course, I hope you don’t notice any changes. I hope you get utterly, completely bored with feeling your boobs. But, should that day come when you do notice a change – you’ll be ready. Because you are totally and completely knowledgeable about your boobscape.

And that can make a world of difference.
