Carrboro just doesn’t get enough ATTENTION.
So I want to give it more. More attention. More respect. More love.
I want to highlight a few of the reasons why Carrboro rocks.
Remember that crazy time when some Americans wanted to re-name french toast and french fries – I mean, really? Freedom toast? Freedom fries? And then Carrboro officials declared that April “French Trade Month”?
Yeah, that was awesome.
What about the hula-hoop classes on Weaver Street’s lawn?
Or that dude who dances all the time?
Let’s face it. Carrboro is a town like no other. But what REALLY makes Carrboro are the people.
The people of Carrboro are what made hoofing around town passing out flyers and struggling with dangerous staple guns worth it (all I can think about when handling industrial quality stapling guns is, “Ralphie, you’re going to shoot your eye out!“)…
We appreciate EVERY business in Carrboro (and don’t worry, Chapel Hill, your time is coming) who has chosen to display our flyers and share information about BREASTFEST 2008!
Here’s just a sampling of where you can find our flyers downtown…
Much sweat, love, and respect – and many thanks – to Carrboro…
