…Because one-half of Team Tar Heel (that one-half being me, Jenni) is going to New York this weekend.
What might I be doing there, you ask?
The answer is simple, my friends.

While the main purpose of my trip is to stuff myself full of food and comedy for a few days, I am so excited about this trip and BREASTFEST 2008 (which, by the way, is just TWO WEEKS away), that I’d like to make you a deal.
I will be procuring a few of the cheesiest NYC souvenirs I can find. I’m talking classy shot glasses, perhaps a stuffed gorilla holding a giant apple – who knows, really? Nothing says “I just took an awesome trip to New York City” better than a couple of plastic keychains or a glossy postcard, right?
Right?
But dear reader, I will not be procuring these priceless items for myself. No – my challenge (ahem – deal) for you is this:
The first person to purchase his or her tickets online each day I’m in NYC (that’s Saturday through Tuesday, my friends) will receive one of these wonderful, memorable souvenirs. You can tell all your friends you just got back from the Big City, and you have the foam Statue of Liberty to prove it.
Need I also remind you that anyone who purchases their tickets online will receive a complimentary soda/tea and EXTRA raffle ticket along with their free appetizer plate (oh, and access to the best-named fundraiser of the year).
