Should 500 kicks do it?

Thank you, roundhouse kicks.

I have a confession to make. 

Last week I did an excellent job with training for the walk – this week, not so much. 

Well, you see, it’s not that I haven’t been active. It’s just that this week I finally signed my life (or at least the next three years) away to a tae kwon do center in Carrboro. 

If you want to know what my life has been like over the past week, then imagine doing an hour and a half of pretty much straight cardio and doing about 500 kicks during warm-up. 

WARM-UP.

So – while my body may not be completely ready (yet) to walk 60 miles, my heart should be in damn good shape. And so should my legs. 

I think those classes five times per week in conjunction with my daily ten mile sprint between the hospital and class should do the trick, right?
