(Please note, if you’re looking for BREADFEST, this is NOT the appropriate page. Please see additional information at bottom.)
In journalism school, I learned that in order to write a top-notch article (you can see how far that got me in my career), you had to include the five “W’s”…and…an “H.” Now, when you invite your friends and family to an event called BreastFest, their first reaction may be something like this:

See? Family friendly!
So, dear friends, this post is intended to prepare you for such a reaction. You can simply pull out the five “W’s” (and the lonely “H”).
Who?: Nicole Mason and Jenni Norman (that’s us – your hosts!)
What?: A night of music, food, drinks, raffle prizes, cash drawings, and…and…(are you ready?)…FUN.
Where?: La Residence, in beautiful downtown Chapel Hill (hey, hey…BreastFest ends at 10…Chapel Hill bars open at 10…coincidence? We think not).
When?: Saturday, August 22 from 7-10 PM.
Why?: To raise money in order to travel to Washington, D.C. (AGAIN) and walk 60 miles (AGAIN) in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, in honor of fighters and survivors everywhere, and in memory of those who have bravely fought and would want us to keep doing so.
How?: By purchasing a ticket to BreastFest for ONLY $15 and spreading the word to your friends and family, you can help us succeed.
So, if your friends and family ask you, “What exactly is BreastFest?”
Well, you know…
(Addendum: There has been some confusion among certain friends of NICOLE MASON that this event is in support of BREAD. While we do enjoy and heartily support bread–yes, even Jesus loved carbs–this event is currently to support BREASTS. Thank you.)

Will you be selling t-shirts? I think a shirt that said BreastFest would be fabulous.
