Thank you to my 2008 walking partner, and 2009 BreastFest partner, Nicole Mason. Without her, BreastFest would never have happened (and hundreds of walkers at the 2008 3-Day would not have been subjected to endless renditions of “Don’t Stop Believin’”).

Nicole’s Story

I decided to participate in the 2008 Breast Cancer Three Day walk in Washington DC on October 3-5, 2008. Id known too many women who have been affected by this disease and have been wanting to do something to get involved with this organization for a few years.  Walking those 60 miles was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

Due to the demands of my ABSN program, I will be unble to participate in the 2009 walk.  However, I am committed to helping my friend and teammate Jenni Norman on her journey.

The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.
